I don't have a title yet:/
Please tell me what you think tho!

“Nothing’s ever built to last, Rorie. It just doesn’t happen that way.”
Every time I heard those words, I stop breathing. “Nothing’s ever built to last” Those powerful words, were so painful.
Mia turned her head towards me. “I’m sorry.”
A tear trickled down my cheek. “Yeah…” I paused, trying to find the words to say. “Me too” I finally said under my breath.
“You know you shouldn’t be so depressed over this whole thing, it’s not even really a big deal, if you think about it.”
“Ha. I have thought about it.” I said as I gave her a look and turned my head “You think I haven’t thought about it for the past weeks? Do you think I haven’t locked myself in my bedroom and cried my eyes out all night, yeah I’d say I have put some thought into it.”
“Oh Rorie, you know I didn’t mean it that way.”
“I’m not to sure how you meant it, Mia.”
“Nevermind, I just think you should be happier and take the positive things out of the situation.” I had no response. “Because I’m not gonna deal with you, I can’t take care of you when your like this, it brings me down to much and I can’t be around all your negativity.
“I never once told you, you had to take care of me, I didn’t tell you to stay around. Your choosing to do that.”
“Well, I’m not just gonna leave you.”
“Do what you have to do.” I replied.
“Oh because it’s that easy. You don’t think I have problems going on in my life? But I can’t tell you them because all you do is care about yourself and you don’t have time to hear what I have to say, or what’s going on with me because you just don’t care and all your worried about is your own problems.” Mia screamed in my face as I got up and walked away.
“Rorie! You can’t run from your problems Forever!”
She finally noticed I wasn’t going to turn around to come back to her. As she got up to chase me she yelled “Rorie! that’s not what I meant, I’ll always be here for you, no matter what. I’m not going anywhere. Please, stop.”
As I stopped running, she caught up with me, all out of breath.
“Save it. It must had meant something if you said it.”
“I said it out of anger.” She replied breathing heavily.
“Oh really? Well it must have came from somewhere.”
“I told you, I didn’t mean it.”
It was silent for awhile, as we both stood there, on the beach, Until finally Mia broke the silence.
“Stop being stubborn.”
“It’s getting late, I should be going home.” I said calmly as the wind coming off the water blew across my flawless face. Mia didn’t say a word as I walked slowly back to my house. There was nothing really to be said, that already has been.
For a second I almost turned around and begged for forgiveness, but I wasn’t that person anymore, nor would I ever be.
